It's difficult to find a longer coat when you're a pear shaped woman. When I buy larger sized hip length or longer jackets/coats to accommodate my shape, I normally end up with excessive sleeve widths and bust areas. I am delighted to say that this coat is excellent. It flares gently from the waist and there's no excess material bulging about at the arms and chest. It creates a really flattering silhouette. I'm delighted. There's plenty of room to wear a t-shirt and a fleece underneath. I'm 5' 3" and it comes down to about 3" above my knees. I cannot comment on durability yet but for fit and the ability to not make a curvy woman look like a shapeless ball, it's 5 stars from me.
